Dear Amy: Is anybody allowed to make stuff on the Web? Is it OK to link to anyone?-Colin, Golden, CO

Dear Colin: What makes the Web so awesome is that anyone can make a homepage where he can tell the world about himselves and say what he wants. What makes the Web better than printed stuff is that a link on your Web page can send a surfer to another person's page that you think is really cool or has interesting info. It's OK to put a link to another Web site. Just make sure that the people seeing your page don't get confused and think someone else's hard work belongs to you. To find out how to create your own homepage for free, you can go to http://geocities.yahoo.com/home. (This site is no longer available. You can create a free homepage at http://sites.google.com.)

Dear Amy: How many NASA space missions have there been?-Stephen, Atsugi, Japan

Dear Stephen: NASA has a mandate from Congress to provide information about its space programs, and the Web has been one of the greatest places to get NASA news, reports and even live pictures of what they have been doing. There are all kinds of space missions and projects like the Hubble Space Telescope, Space Shuttle, MIR space station and exploration of Mars. The best place to start is on the NASA home page at www.nasa.gov.
