Dear Devin: It's popular because it has something for everyone, especially schools and kids. The WWW is easy to use and it has pictures, sounds, interactive games and movies. You can get information on everything for your homework right from your computer. For a lot of links about making your own World Wide Web page, check out this TrackStar page at http:// scrtec.org/ track/ tracks/ s00057.html. To get started, choose the frames version. It will guide you through all the things you need to think about. The URLs are listed so you can visit them without TrackStar, too. (This site is no longer available.)
Dear Amy: My friend and I both use Netscape and she keeps asking me for URL's I've found. Is there a way to copy my bookmarks for her? -Anita Birmingham, AL
Dear Anita: When you are running Netscape, open the Bookmarks window under the Windows menu. From the Bookmarks window, just drag the Bookmarks to a floppy disk for your friend to have. Now she has to drag them from the floppy disk to the bookmarks window on her computer. For more neat things you can do, visit the Netscape Navigator Handbook at http:// home.netscape.com/ eng/ mozilla/ Gold/ handbook/ index.html. (This site is no longer available.)
