Dear Amy: Where can I play free MMORPGs? — Anonymous
Dear Anonymous: Massively multiplayer online role-playing games, called MMORPGs for short, are becoming really popular. Many of these games require a paid membership to play, but there are a few places you can play that are free and kid-friendly. Disney's ToonTown, http://play.toontown.com, lets you create your own toon and battle robots. Another free MMORPG is RuneScape at www.runescape.com, where you can complete quests in a world of knights, dragons and goblins. If you're under 13 years old, you'll need a parent to help you sign up. To keep safe while you play, remember to follow the rules and never give other players your personal information. Have fun!
Dear Amy: How do you find Web sites? — Jasmine, Villa Rica, Hawaii
Dear Jasmine: The easiest way to find Web sites is by using a search engine. You can search for the name of a specific site or topic you're looking for. My favorite search engines are http://kids.yahoo.com, www.askkids.com and www.kidsclick.org. For more search tips, visit http://sp.askkids.com/
