A Retro Revolution

Chances are you've seen pixel art online, but maybe you didn't know what to call it. Pixel art is a type of digital art that has been gaining popularity in recent years. It has a similar style to old video-game graphics, which needed to be simple due to memory constraints. This form of art takes a lot of patience because it is created one pixel at a time, but it's worth the effort. You can use pixel art to design your own cool avatars, or you can try designing your own favicons. A favicon, or favorites icon, is the small image that appears next to the URL in most Web browsers. These links will show you how to start making your own awesome pixel art.
