Northwestern University presents The Last Expression: Art and Auschwitz at http:// lastexpression.northwestern.edu. Essays, interviews, biographies, lectures and virtual tours teach the world about life during and after the Holocaust. Read biographies of Holocaust survivors and victims. Some prisoners painted and drew during their detention, depicting their sorrow and anguish. Virtual tours of the Auschwitz camp also help people understand the living conditions prisoners endured.

Dear Tony: Hot spots are wireless Internet portals. More precisely, a hot spot is a box that is wired to the Web. It has an antenna, which allows anyone with a Wi-Fi-enabled laptop and an account with a wireless Internet service provider, WISP, to get online without a physical connection. Hot spots are in airports, coffeeshops and hotels. A wireless connection in your house could be considered a hot spot too. Dear Sheryl: Lots of newspapers are online these days, and many of them have a special section dedicated solely to news for kids. For younger kids, the BBC has created CBBC Newsround at http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews. Both sites are great resources for news that is important to kids.
