These are your answers:

Yes I do speak up because if i speak up they will not be harmed when i dont speak up they will be bullied every day they will also be scared to tell and they will be harmed. That's why i will speak up and why i wont speak up to bullying.

—lilly R., age 10, from new york, New York, 05-14-2013
When I see bullying, I talk to the bully. I usually ask the bully why they are treating someone in a way they WOULD NOT like to be treated. -I talk to the bully about treating others the way the bully would like to be treated. I am a teacher so I believe that a bully should have a consequence. NO ONE should bully someone else!

—Beth L., age 54, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I usally speak against bullying because I feel that bullying should not even be allowed. Most kids bully because they have been bullied. What if the other bully haden't been bullied? He would have been very, very, very happy. If this happens to you,you should tell a teacher or a person you trust!

—emma M., age 9, from frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I have never been in a bullying situation, but I think I would speak up because it needs to be realized that someone is being bullied.I would tell my teacher so the bullying would stop.

—Elizabeth G., age 10, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I speak out because I don't want the kids getting bullied anymore because it is child abuse and I don't like that. It sounds wrong and if the bully is still bullying I tell a teacher or adult.

—Zachary S., age 10, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I do speak up when someone's bullied because I believe school is no place where anyone should have to worry about being bullied. I believe that we come to school for Knowledge. What do you think?

—Keith B., age 9, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
When I see bullying I'm not a bystander and just let it happen. First, I will encourage that person to stand up for herself. But if they can't, that's when you need an adult. Telling an adult will make it better and solve the problem.

—Manda H., age 10, from Franfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
When I see bullying, I speak up, beacause I know that people should not be treated differently no matter how they look or what they eat, because they still go to school and learn like the rest of us. Even though somebody doesnt look or sound like you do, you shouldnt treat them badly.

—Grace C., age 9, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I don't speak up because I'm afraid that if I stand up then the bully will start bullying me.Then I feel bad.I would like to stop it,but I just don't want to be bullied

—Eddy N., age 10, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I speak up when I see bullying.I do this because no one deserves to be treared that way. This year I have seen two people be bullied. Also one of those people that were bullied was a very close friend of mine actually a best friend.

I speak up I say "Hey please stop bullying. It's not nice!" If they tell me "No, what are you going to do about it?" I'll go tell a teacher. So if you are being bullied tell a teacher!!Don't let yourself or others be bullied.

—Trinity W., age 9, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
Bullying is not good and nobody wants to be bullied. I know what it feels like. If I see somebody getting, I will go get a teacher. Speak up for once.

—Mason P., age 12, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
Yes and no.Yes, because I feel like nobody should be bullied, it's wrong. But I also feel like I need to be a bystander.Usually if you help a bullied kid the bully will also bully you.All the bullied kid has to do is ignore the bully and not let them ruin your life.

—Conner H., age 10, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
Yes, I would speak up because it is not right to watch others be bullied when you are standing there. I would stand up and try to stop it before the victim gets hurt. So tell an adult and take responsibility.

—William W., age 11, from Frankfort, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
I would speak up telling an aduilt if I witnessed bullying.Because it would be the right thing to do.If I didn't I'm sure the one who is getting bullied would not be able to tell because they are scared. If they saw me just standing there they would probably want me to get an aduit. I would never want to bully or get bullied so I treat people the right way.

—Memphis Y., age 10, from Frankfrot, Kentucky, 05-15-2013
