Cassini’s Journey

CassiniNot all spacecraft transport astronauts. Cassini, tinyurl.com/msjyu3o, was launched in 1997 on a mission to orbit Saturn, studying the planet and its moons. In 2005, NASA was part of an international space cooperative that launched the Huygens probe from Cassini to land on Saturn’s largest moon, Titan. The data collected has provided scientists all over the world with information about the ringed planet. In Videos, scientists share what they’ve learned. Could there be life on other planets? Warm weather opens up a whole new world of possibilities for sports in the summer. If you are interested in playing on an organized team, you might try baseball, soccer, lacrosse or competitive swimming. Don’t want to join a team? There is plenty more for you to enjoy with family and friends, depending on where you live. For example, if there’s a lake or beach nearby, you could try water skiing, surfing or tubing.
