Hobby Time

Now that the cooler weather has set in and your school routine is established, it’s a good time to look for some new hobbies. If you like to do crafts, try Kid Crafts at www.mamaslikeme.com/p/kid-crafts.html. You will find fun projects to make with items you have at home.

I love listening to all types of music, and one activity I especially enjoy is learning to play a new instrument. Did you know there are sites online where you can learn to play an instrument? Check out Kids Guitar Zone, kidsguitarzone.com, for free guitar lessons. If you have a piano or keyboard you want to learn to play, visit Free Online Piano Lessons for Kids at freepianolessons4kids.com to learn from a real instructor.

Building models is another fun activity you can try at home. Hobby stores are filled with all kinds of projects. There are many to choose from, but here are a few you might want to look for: a radio-controlled helicopter, a rocket, a pirate ship or a fighter jet. Have a good time!
