Amazing Canines

Dogs are more than just lovable animals around our houses. Nature: Extraordinary Dogs at www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/
dogs showcases dogs and their amazing talents. Meet Cinder, a dog who can tell when her owner is going to have a seizure, or Chip, a border collie who herds sheep. That’s Entertainment

I've always had a flair for the dramatic, and one of my biggest passions is the theater. Combine drama with my love of music and you get musicals, big stage productions with fancy costumes, extravagant sets and glorious music.

Some of my favorite musicals include “Beauty and the Beast,” “My Fair Lady,” “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and “Ragtime.“ However, my all-time favorite is “Aida.” The story is about Aida, a Nubian princess who is captured by the Egyptian army. In Egypt, she serves as handmaiden to the pharaoh’s daughter and falls in love with her captor, Radames, the captain of the Egyptian army. Best of all, “Aida” features the music of famous pop star Elton John.
Another musical I am very excited to see is “Wicked.” Based on a novel by Gregory McGuire, “Wicked” tells the story of The Wizard of Oz from the perspective of the Wicked Witch of the West.
